Friends

The Friends of SHBT are an integral part of what we are about; without you, there is no Trust!

It is hoped that Friends will enjoy the architectural heritage of Surrey, and learn more about it, by helping the Trust raise funds, publicise its work and increase awareness of its endeavours through taking part in groups activities that interest them.

All Friends of SHBT can enjoy

  • Visits, guided walks, talks, both online and in-person, to and about places of architectural and historical interest, some of which may not usually be open to the public.

  • Invitations to the Surrey Heritage Awards ceremonies at which entries are exhibited and trophies presented.
  • Participation at the Annual General Meeting which usually includes a notable guest speaker.
  • Other activities that can be organised arising from Friends’ suggestions!

  • The pleasure of bringing along a companion!
