Do you cherish Surrey’s architectural heritage and believe that it is worth preserving? Would you like to be part of a group that celebrates this heritage and works to preserve these historic buildings?
Surrey Historic Buildings Trust (Registered Charity No. 279240) exists to help preserve historic buildings in and around Surrey, and, where necessary, to rescue heritage at risk by providing grant aid for conservation and essential repairs. Since the Trust’s formation we have provided over £500,000 in conservation grants and have played a leading role in promoting awareness of Surrey’s unique and diverse architectural heritage.
You can support our vital work, and meet other people who share your love of historic Surrey, by joining the Friends of Surrey Historic Buildings Trust. Membership of the Friends will give you the opportunity to learn more about our county’s heritage by taking part in organised visits and private tours throughout Surrey. Through the Friends of SHBT you will meet architects, conservationists, historians and archaeologists – and fellow history enthusiasts!
